The highlight of the programme

The Blue Carbon Partnership Declaration

The highlight of the programme. Embassies, governments, the United Nations system, development partners, business and civil society sign the Blue Carbon Partnership Declaration, each stating its own commitment to coastal restoration over the next three years. Signing is by representative, in alphabetical order of country or institution, before the Guests of Honour. Each signatory receives a signed copy, is recorded on the Commitment Wall and in the Impact Report, and is honoured with a named grove at the mangrove planting on Saturday.
